GOOD RIDENCE...HELLO 2007

Hi again....hopefully, this will be the last post of my 2006....

Let's see, just since I have talked to you, we have had "the King of Soul" (ok) die, Sadam Hung....yesssssssssss! and a dearly beloved great man who was one of our President's die, Gerald Ford. Also, my kitty had another seizure...she's still with us but due to the above mentioned events, we will not be getting her blood results back until Friday, so I hope she just stays quiet until then. Until we find out what is/was wrong with her.Gosh, my 2006 year sucked, big time! And, it doesn't help that I am growing older by the minute...lol I did, however manage to get a police report made for the fraud from Ebay, and was able to get in an MRI on the lumbar spine. Most of my year has been tied up....wishfully to burn...but, all in all, I am still alive and kicking, so it couldn't have been for not. We did have some good times and my surgery was a God send. I know I am truly blessed. But, I don't know if you ever heard the quote from Mother Theresa or not...this is how I feel, a lot of the time..."I know god doesn't give us anymore than we can handle...but, why does he trust me so much!!!!"With that in mind...I will close this little note with the other way I feel about life:"Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but, Rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, SHOUTING"...HOLY SHIT .... what a Ride!!!!HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!good night to all...and may we all have a better 2007!

KRISMESS ALMOST OVER

HI, well, it's almost done! This has not been a favorite year. If I had to list pro's (good things that happened) vs. con's (not so good things that happened this year)- I think the bad guys would win.
The best thing that happened this year would have to be my surgery. I have a lot fewer headaches, my neck pain is much less, and that is all great. Now, I don't mean to be ungrateful for all my many blessings, and I know I have many more than a lot of people, but there have been some difficult days, weeks, months, along this year. I have had two really great friends pass, plus the father of a really great friend, and I know this is part of life and I should let it go, but it's just dang difficult. And, it seems the older one gets in this life, the more life becomes fragile. I have a beautiful granddaughter (actually 4 beautiful g-daughters, but only one from a mother who seems to be really vengeful and with little empathy, or regard for the feelings of others.) Ok, I don't usually say things like that but I guess I just had to get it out. Anyway, I really miss my little girl. She is 15 now and has just been diagnosed with ADHD. I wish I could be there to help her. She is so giving, happy, loving and helpful. I just hope I can be here long enough to see her thru her life, thru her graduation, marriage, and her children.

Christmas was very quiet at our home. We didn't have the lights, the sounds, the presents. If it weren't for our good friends in Oklahoma, we would not have had any gifts. But it was fun, getting a package in the mail and some things that were "hand picked" just for us. I love my purse holder, it works soooooooooooo well. Everyone checks it out and asks where I got it. I have to laugh, it's quite the attention getter. And, the Ol' Coyote got this really cool camo ATV bag to go on his not so camo ATV. The bag is awesome, you unzip it and it has a magic red light that comes on so you can check out your stuff and not bother anyone else, so really cool. Now, as far as "family" goes, we got a tin of Mrs Fields assortment from my brother and his wife, woopie, and a box of candy from my sister and her husband....really "thoughtful" gifts. I'm sorry, do I sound negative?....hummmmmm, I wonder why.

Ok, enough of the "gift supply". On with the "merryment". We to dinner on night before Christmas eve, eve. Some friends invited us, and it was fun. Then, for Christmas day, we were invited to some other friends, and that was fun(?). We ate baked chicken with side dishes and then got to see Waynes gun collection.....that's what I live for on Christmas.

Today, I went and got an MRI on the lumbar spine, maybe something wrong there, we will find out next year. Yesterday, I pulled it together and finally made a police report of the $508.00 loss from an Ebay deal gone bad. So, I have had some closure for this sad year. I tell you, I am ready for the New Year to begin. I want some happy times and some good food, good friends (especially the ones that live in OKlahoma) and great memories.....I'm already looking forward to our trip in March to see the boys in Orlando and then, back to Oklahoma to have some real fun with lips, the midget and Ol' Bob....I'm ready!!!!

It's late now, and I am going to sign off so I can be more positive on the next post. I still have a lot to say, I have a lot to do. We have some friends coming to visit from Washington, they should be here on the 1st of January, for a couple days, on their way to Utah. I have rooms to clean, decorations to put away, sheesh, anyone have any speed I can have......just kidding!!!!

Good night!

BEGINNING TO LOOK LIKE CHRISTMAS

Hello again....first off I want to give you this fantastic site. It begins in French, but he is only presenting the act....and what an act. I felt it was so calming and quaint. Hope you enjoy it.

Go here to see it.

Ok, now about the rest of the day. It was a fun day. Ethel and I went to Adriano's for lunch, yum, the lasagne was wonderful. Then we drove over to the dollar store and had a great time laughing at all the cutsie tiny clothes for all those anarexic daft little brainless teenagers. There was some cute and fun Christmas items there, so we really had a good time.

Then we had to come home so Ethel could get ready to go out for the weekly Saturday dinner with relatives....boring......
So, I thru Skip in the car and we went to wally-world. I got some really fun stuff to decorate the Christmas trees we have growing in our yard. But, by time we got home, the Cody breeze had matasdasized to an almost gail...on pun there. I couldn't find anything to nail the stuff down, so I came in.

The Ol' Coyote had worked in his shop today. He had determined that his ATV was not as straight as it should be. So he started with a pole and I don't know what all, to push the bend out. Well, I guess things got so harried, that he had to call Fred to come over and stand on the ATV to hold it down while the Coyote pushed. Evidently, he was pushing Fred and the ATV all over the shop. After they finished, Coyote informed Fred that usually for a ride like that, you would have to surrender an "E" ticket!!!!

Hummmm, it's after midnight, I guess I should give in and go to bed. Need to get some rest before we go to church. We are singing in the Christmas choir, so we have rehersal tomorrow evening. WHICH JUST HAPPENS TO BE (drum roll, please) The Coyote's birthday.....it's his "06" birthday. So, I have ordered the cake and bought the ice cream for a little paraty after our rehersal.....

ok, ni-night, lynne

MUNDANE MONDAY

wELL, yesterday's color did not look really good, so we can try this. My day began with the usual Monday, physical therapy.....since I had such a rough weekend, I pleaded with my therapist to go easy today. He did. Even tho his dearly beloved Broncos lost, he was in a way good mood. So he was extremely gentle, however, he did have to put the electrical stim on....don't ask, I hate it....anyway, I got out of there by noon-thirty, came home, got the mail and Coyote was chompin' at the bit to get on over to wallyworld. So we load up and sure as shooting, yep, he had to make a stop at the ATV shop BEFORE we could go to Wallyworld......how come they always have to be first, it makes me so upset.

Well, we forgot most of what we wanted to get....yes, we had the list...the important items where not on the list (go figure) The Ol' Coyote heard from his friend Fred, that WM had a winch on sale and it was really a good one, they used it today, as a matter of fact. Wait 'til you hear why.......Well, when we were at WM coyote forgot to find/look at it (I was amazed, he never forgets to look at something he wants, it's usually the first stop, no matter what!...lol)

Oh well, back to using the winch...This Ol' Coyote is really sly, for a coyote. We have been talking about finding an old VW bug and making another Baja bug or Dune Buggy. Long story short, coyote's barber had a 1987 Suzuki Samuri taking up space. He wanted to get rid of it coyote offered $100 bucks, Frank/barber countered $500, Coyote said sold. Coyote came home and told Fred about the deal and they got Fred's big truck, the trick winch and trailer and went over and picked it up.

Now, I don't begrudge him the vehicle.....but let's look at reality. It's Christmas time, gifts are to be bought for OTHER people, and only when one has money. (well, two outa two, not bad) It's going to be interresting to see how the rest of the Joyous Season will go.

My venture today brought some closure for me. I bought some new pans in Phoenix and I was so excited. The brand name is Cooks. The are wonderful heavy stainless steel and a good selection of sizes. The really neat thing is that just last year, My friend Judy and I went to the True Valule hardware store and bought new Krona stainless pans. In order to justify me getting the Cooks pans, I needed a good home for my new Kona pans. Well guess what....I found just the place, my best friend in Miami, Oklahoma. Lips is really gonna be pleased when she sees HER new pots and pans. They are in the mail!!!!

Wish us luck or say a prayer that we are safe tomorrow, we have to drive thru deer/elk country to and from Billings to shop. Our optomotrist is there and we both have been having eye/glasses problems. With any luck, this will be the last time to take this trip before Christmas. Oh yum, I just thought of something, we can get a great pumpkin pie and some more avacadoes from Costco...I can charge there, yipeeeeeeeeee

Ok Chickidee, this confussed cruella is gonna be shutting down, it's tired out, and we gotta hit the pavement early. BTW Update on Daysee, our dufus rotty....she is doing a lot better, she only peeed in one bed today....and she is maneuvering much better. She still can't back-up. She is still funnier than ever....ok, I'm outta here, good night

CAN'T THINK OF A TITLE

How's that for a title, great beginning, eh? Well, give me a while to warm up. I haven't blogged since the 17th of September, wow, that's a long time ago. I've been from one side of the continent to the other and back home just since then. I've gotten to see my daughter, her three little girls, Emily, Abigail and Kathryn. I got to go to my girlfriends in Glendale, AZ and go shopping, I mean REALLY SERIOUSLY SHOPPING, at real stores. See here in Cody, Wy, we have wallmart, k-mart and specialty shops. It's fun to visit. It's fun to know all the shop owners. And, you really know who your friends are. The name of the game here is Quality, not quantity. What friends you make and have are the best.*

Anyway, back to AZ. I got to buy my favorite candy, it's called See's...it's wonderful. (The dark chocolate is the best.) I got to go to In-N-Out and have a great burger with fries and a chocolate milk shake, oh yum! We went to Penneys, I got a padpadracha ring in the checkerboard faceting, it's beautiful, firey orange, totally not me, Carolyn made me buy it because of the great deal. I guess under all this dust and denium there really is a female that likes flashy girly things, don't let that out tho...my hubby would never believe that. I've always been the tomboy from the getgo. Oh, I also got a new two tone gold bracelete, we had fun. She always spends my money...lol Then I got to go to Trader Joes's. If you haven't been to a Trader Joe's and you ever have the opportunity, go. They have the neatest stuff. And, their vitamins and antioxidents are so good for you and so much less than in other stores. We went to Ikea and bought a new chest and two of their only poang chairs, wow, so cool. After visiting with our daughter and Carolyn and her family, we flew from Phoenix to Orlando, FL. We got to visit with our boys and my oldest grandaughter (15 going on 25) flew in from San Antonio, Tx for three days. We had a ball!!! Then we flew back to AZ. got in the car and drove up to Bullhead City to visit with my brother and his wife. We were going to stay for 2/3 days, but, by the time we got there, we were so pooped, so broke, so wanting to get home....we went to dinner with them, spent the night and drove home.

So now, we have Christmas. It's a good thing that we don't do presents, we don't have anything left to do presents with. So we are staying home for the first time in 5 years. Just the two of us, Christmas, home, food, lots of wood for lots of warm fires. We will sit and read the Christmas story and watch my favorite animated "Small One"...I cry everytime. this will be an interesting Christmas. With the world so messed up and everyone calling it Happy Holidays, so they don't offend anyone, so they can leave Christ out of Christmas, whatever....to each his own.

Oh, I forgot to tell you about one of our dogs. Daysee...we refer to her as dufus daysee, she is such a cluts...she has lost weight, she is now a very trim 90 lbs. rotty....she got a staff infection. We have no clue from where or when. We took her to the vet, he examined, did his thing, she came home with us in the morning, by afternoon, she was so swollen and very lethargic. So the Ol' Coyote (after copious amounts of pleading by me)loaded her into the truck and took her back to the vet. He kept her overnight and when we went to get her in the morning, she was not nearly as swollen and she looked like she was going to make it. We also brought a "cone" collar for her. She is hysterical. She bumps into something and she is like one of those battery operated robots....she stops completely. She doesn't look around, or move. She just stands there. Then when you go to put her out side she tries to walk thru the door, but the collar proceeds her and clunks her back...again, she just stands there waiting for the wall to move for her.....what a trip.

Well, I think I have pretty much caught you up to date. At church we are practicing for the Christmas program. Oh, the other news here in Cody, we have a Japanese Restaurant. Shiki....it's wonderful, delicious, one more reason to think about coming out to visit...

Let's see, it's 8:30 pm Dec 3 and our temp is -1, at least the wind has calmed down. Between the freighttrain wind and the coyote snooring, I got no sleep last night, maybe tonight will be sleep tight, so, I will say good night, until another day...

WEEKEND

Golly, the weekend has come and gone AND I STILL HURT!!!! Ok, I'm done complaining. But, I just had to say it. Because, tomorrow is Monday and that starts therapy, all over again. Don't worry, I'll get used to it and not say anymore about it.....hopefully.

How was your weekend? Good, I hope. Mine was very uneventful. I spent most of it in bed. But I will have to tell you. My sweetie, the ol' CodyCoyote, went to go fly model airplaines and he got rained out. But that was a good thing for us. The head of the fly club had brought 4 lbs of Elk meat to make hamburgers. Since the rain came, Port gave codycoyote 2 lbs. to bring home and do whatever. WELL....let me tell you....we had some AWESOME CHILLI, made by the Ol' Coyote.......maaaaaaaaaaaaann, he really outdid himself. That was the best chilli I have ever eaten....Bring on the Elk hunting season....if only we could get a tag, dang, it was super.

Saturday it rained and the temps changed dramaticly. The weather reports were for rain/snow for today, but it's just been spiting, so the only chance we have this weekend for snow would be tonight....ain't gonna happen. It's 43 now and I don't think it wants to snow yet. We usually get our first snowfall the first week of October, I was hoping this would be a different year.

This is sad, I honestly can't think of anything else I did (thaat was fun and worth talking about), so, I guess I will sign off for today and hope for a better tomorrow. Ciao!

SUCCESS

OK...we are going to try this again. It won't be near as long as the first (post, that did not post) because I hope to click publish before the power goes out againi. We've lost it three times now, so cross your fingers!!!

I got up this morning to beautiful blue skies and white puffy clouds and it was gorgeous. The coms were moooooooooooing in the field behind us and the geese were in grreat form honking accross the sky. Somebody must have done something someone didn't like because it sounded like one of them was giving the rest what for. Anyway, it was a site to behold and the smell was so fresh, wow, there is just no place like Wyoming...there is a reason they call this place GOD'S COUNTRY, it is just so fabulous.

I had to go to physical therapy (second time) today, and, well, it was you know, uck. Brian is my therapist and he is the sweetest guy (not in the gay connotation, he is straight, but cool) He is not used to being as gentle as he has to be with me. He said that in the seven years he has been doing this, I am without a doubt the most sensitive (to touch) than anyone he has had to work on before. Well, that made me feel badly, I felt like crying, I hate being different. It's so weak. Whenever I get mad or angry at myself, I cry...it was all I could do to keep that smile on my face today. He used ultra sound and that hurt and he only had it on 1.5.....then he did the manipulation and massage and then the neck stretching, yeeeeeeeeeouch!!! Ok, then after my torture, he placed a wide ice collar around my upper back and neck, oh, that felt soooooooooooooooooo good. I heard the bell and wanted to just become invisable so I could be "under ice" just a little longer.....didn't work, he found me. He took the ice pack and I got my stuff to get dressed when I noticed the poster on the wall. I think it was there just for me. It said, "SUCCESS IS A JOURNEY - NOT A DESTINATION. It made sense to me. I can do this. It's not for the rest of my life, it's only temporary, I can get thru this....

Thank heaven it is Friday, I have two days away from my torture hours. When we left, we went home because the ol' coyote was hungry (duh) and since he drove me, he didn't get to eat lunch at a normal time. I just wanted to lie down.

After lying down for a while and coyote had finished his lunch, the sky was looking like it might rain some more. I had the quilt show to go to and the quilt shop to go to and I didn't feel like driving, so my sweety said he would take me to the quilt shop, since that was more important....he doesn't do quilt shows. I don't really know why. I do gun shows and car shows with him. mmmmmmmm. Oh well, I was just glad I got to get my quilt square for this month.

It's really interesting to me how many things or people can change your day. I awoke so positive, happy, pain free (almost). Now it is the close of the day and I feel frumpy, I hurt, I'm lonesome and not happy. I know that we are in charge of ourselves. And only I can make me happy or sad. But at this point, I guess I just don't have the energy or the desire to make me happy. I guess I will stop now and pray I feel better.
Good Night...

A SLOW THURSDAY

Man, this week has just flown bye...wow, where do I begin. Let's start with the ol' coyote. He has been on the phone and thru the catalogs and scratching his head and walking around in circles a whole lot....over the ATV. He is going to put it back together. He has gotten two quotes on parts needed. One was off the internet for $2400. I said that was kinda spendy! So then, he got a call from Dustin, the owner of the Bombardia Dealership....their price on the parts bundle was only $3400....hummmm, I don't wanna say anything, but this is just not going to fly, or even get back on the road at these rates. The other thing was that both of the places said that the factory repair manual was backordered, so the coyote was pretty down. Then we got a call from our Oklahoma friends and Robt. found the manual on line in a cd that is totally awesome. We had a factory manual for one of our cars on cd and it's great. You just fire up the ol' puter and go to the section you need, print out the page(s) and you can get them as greasy or crumpled or ripped and when done, toss them. So that was a good call from Robt. (thanks, he needs all the help he can get) This is a major deal for him. He is a VW mechanic and does the oil, plugs and all that stuff, but completely rebuilding this ATV is overwhelming.....Coyote gets overwhelmed very easily. But, that's good for him, it keeps him home, I like that.

Yesterday (Wednesday) was my firs day of therapy. I put it off as long as I could, yuk, 3 times a week for THREE MONTHS!!!! Now some people like massages, I don't. I have such sensitive surface nerves that everything hurts just to touch. When I take a shower, the water feels like needles going into my skin. I don't know why, that's just the way it is. Same way with spas, hot tubs with the jets, yeowweeee, no way baby. Ok, back to the therapy. I have Brian, who is the head of the department. He is very nice, even nice to look at. He just can't believe how sensitive I am and how tight all my muscles in my neck and upper back are. But at least he believes me and is working accordingly. I once had a doctor who treated me like I was a baby, even called me a big baby, after an accident I had. They were doing an electromylagram on my neck and down my back. The pain was excrutiating, it brought tears to my eyes and all he could say was "why are you crying, it doesn't hurt that much" - slammed his stethascope on the table and stomped out. The next day, he did come in to my hosp. room and apologize. He said that he had never done the test on anyone with the severity of mine......duh.....gee, thanks!

So, Brian did the ultra sound on the back of my neck and then after that, he lightly massaged the back of my neck and upper back. And, of course, today, I hurt, it starts all over again......oh, the other thing that he said would be good to loosen my muscles would be heat.....ANYONE WHO KNOWS ME KNOWS I HATE HEAT.....what can I say...he just shook his head, looked at the coyote who shrugged his shoulders and we all just smiled. I know deep down Brian was pulling his hair out.

When we left therapy, we had an appt. with one of our friends that we don't see too often. He is the great hunter. We got to the hunter's house and he was there waiting for us. The reason we went to see the hunter is because he has a mega supply of ivory. You see, Elk have 2 ivory teeth in their mouth's. So he said that he would sell me some ivory, I want a ring and a pendant. BD makes jewelry and I figured if I brought the ivory, it wouldn't cost so much to get the jewelry made. So, we were there over an hour, I swear, people talk to you like there is no tomorrow. Anyway, to make a long story short....I walked away with some ivory, 2 T-bone elk steaks and 1 elk roast, all for at least a third of what I should have paid, for his price to a place called Mystic Lady....wow, I really felt I should have given him more, but, he was ok with it. Now I have an elk roast and my Oklahoma gang aren't here to help us eat it. Of course the coyote isn't too sorry about that...more for him......laughing

Since coyote knew I wasn't feeling well after all the measuring and manipulation, we got in the car and he said, "how would you like to got to El Tapitio for dinner", waaaaaaaaaaaaaahooooooooooo...what a guy!!!! That's our most favorite mexican resaurant. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it was sooooooooooo good!!! I'm so glad that ol' coyote loves me.

Today was a down day, just didn't feel up to snuff..the weather is trying to change and when that barametric pressure changes, so does my mood, I guess. Just felt out of sorts and not like doing anything I should have done. So, I called Gail and asked if she felt like going out to lunch. She did, so we went to Maxwell's and had a very nice lunch. Then we came home, and I watched a couple episodes of Grey's Anatomy, I got to buy the second season, ya ya ya...and then we had pot pies for dinner and here I am. I just went to put the dogs out and realized it rained a little (very little, but never the less rain is rain). Really boring day, but I'm thru it..."tomorrow is another day"
Good Night.

SATURDAY NIGHT

Golly, here it is Saturday night and here we sit, quietly in our little house, just the cat, 2 dogs and the coyote and me. It's so quiet and lonesome. I miss my friends. They left yesterday, early and I wish they were back already. We had such a great time. That midget is a kick. She keeps you laughing all the time. And, she has gotten so pretty, changing from a child into a young lady. Can you believe it.......her legs are longer than mine!!!! Sheesh, it's amazing, simply amazing how they grow now a days.

We all had so much fun in the cabin and in the park. We got to spend two whole days in the park searching for animals and looking at the sites. Wow, the colors are changing already...It's just so beautiful, green, red, yellow and orange. My only complaint was that the Derby fire in MT caused all the smoke to lay in the Park and in our Big Horn Basin....I miss my blue skies and puffy white clouds. I'm hoping the fire will get put out soon. They have lost over 20 homes and still counting. It's so sad for all those families.

We got home Thursday night and all of us were exhausted. Needless to say, with them leaving the next morning EARLY, we all just went to bed. They left around 6am and Skip and I just looked at each other....we couldn't decide to go back to bed or stay up and start the day. With so many things to do, we just stayed up and started our chores.

Today is Saturday and we worked around the house, went to Wally World, I needed some yogurt and Skipper needed some stuff, too. I got to talk to Jim today and he is cleaning all of Deb's things out. He is selling an antique upright piano on ebay and he told me he didn't know what to do with her antique tredle SINGER SEWING MACHINE....I told him I would take it. He said he would take it to the mail people and all I would have to do is pay for shipping....WOWWWWWIE, I couldn't believe it. So I'm really excited about that. It needs a belt and some other things, but shoot, I've always wanted one of those and the plus is that it was my best friend's......I'm just so excited!!!!!!!!!!

Another call I got today was from my oldest Grandaughter, Alyssia. We got to talk for over 20 minutes....that's rare. Usually, her mother has so many things for her to do that we never get to talk. I'm really hoping we get to see her when we go to her dad's house in November.....hope,....hope.....hope. We have not gotten to see her for a year, not fair....not even right.

This was the day for calls. My neice Amy called and we talked about her new baby girl, Ella Kiersten Hall. I can hardly wait to see her. We are going to Washington, for the baby's blessing on Oct. 8, 2006. We don't get to stay too long, the coyote doesn't like to stay away from the house too long......

Speaking of the coyote, he just finished watching his movie, Batman Begins, so I guess I better close so we can get ready for Choir Practice in the morning, before church. Time to turn in, I wonder where Lips and the family are? They are still driving home. They went up to Dead Wood after they left here. I heard from her earlier and they were somewhere in Kansas, still a long way from their home in Miami, Oklahoma...Sure hope they are safe.

I can't believe that I didn't blog in 5 days, wow, we must have been really busy.....good night!

ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER RIDE

Robt. and the Coyote got up early today and went on a ride into Sunlight Basin. While they were gone, I got to talk to Jim Cook about Deb and that was nice. He gave me the name of a florist in Soddie Daisy where they lived. So I was able to call the florist and they were open today, so the woman was really nice and took my order. She will be fixing a nice basket for Deb. There will be roses, babies breath, Irises, Daisys, lots of other flowers all in a basket with a white banner that will say, "To my best friend". I think she and the family will like that. Then I signed it from the both of us. I sure wish I could be there for the services, Wednesday, 6 September 2006, @ 10am. I'm glad that Jim and the family understand that we can't get there....but it really sucks.
We took the day easy and when the boys got home, everyone was tired. We stayed home and fixed Chicken Fajita's for dinner and looked at the great pictures that Robt. took all day. Great scenery and beautiful views. They even got a really close picture of a group of deer. All in all, the day was good. No one got hurt, no machines dies. The midget took both the rotties for a walk (one at a time) They pull her the first part of the walk, then they walk beside her on the way home. Those girls are gonna miss that girl when she leaves to go home. Oh, one other place we girls went today, The Buffalo Bill Dam. When it was built, it was the tallest dam around, in 1905. It was really a difficult task. The weather got as low as 116 below zero. I can't remember how long it took, but they did go thru a lot of people before it got done.

Tomorrow we leave for the park and our fun little cabin, we are all excited. So I will talk to you later....good night

A DAY OF REST & REGROUPING

Well, this being Sunday we didn't do too much. Robt. and the Coyote spent most of the day in the shop, trying to figure out just exactly what parts were needed to put Humpty Dumpty back together again. The Coyote came in thru half the day and announced, "well, we figured it will ONLY take AROUND $1,500.00 to fix things. That being the case, it's going to be a while until H.D. gets fixed. In the mean time, since Robt. is still here to ride, the Coyote is using my machine, OMG! Say your prayers rabbit....I like my machine, I wanna keep my machine.

Lips and the midget and I went to Wally World and K-Mart to pick up some last minute things for our fun trip to Yellowstone where we will be spending one night in a cabin. Then we will spend the next day in the park. I hope we get to see lots of animals.

UH OH...OH NO!!!!

Things are going from bad to worse. I can't begin to tell you the range of emotions and feelings of this day. I woke up to a phone call from my girlfriend's daughter, that her mother had passed away yesterday. Debbi Cook, a great giant among women. She had risen above so much and was doing so well. She had tonsil cancer and had gone thru surgery, chemo and radiation. She had the usual side effects to go thru, the vomiting, the hair loss, the burned throat, etc. She was really on her way up. She was attending a conference for work and had a seizure. The paramedics were called and responded immediately. They brought her back and then put her in the ambulance and transported her to the E.R.. Once they brought her into the E.R., she seized again, and they were not able to bring her back. WHAT A SHOCK!!!!! I'm really sad, she was such a great friend, and I won't be able to attend the services. Good bye for a little while, Deb, I'll catch up with you....

Then, if that wasn't bad enough, the coyote and Robt. went ATVing today while us girls went shopping. We had a great time. We ate lunch at the Irma Hotel in Cody, WY, and shopped until our legs (feet) gave out. Then we came home and got ready for the men to return. It was after 1900 when the phone rang and it was them, almost home. Once home, I waited for the to unload, unpack and all that. Then the coyote came in and asked how my day was....I told him about Debbi and then he proceeded to tell me of his day. They had a wonderful time until about 1430 when the coyote lost it and yes, you guessed it, he totalled his ATV!!!!

September 1st 2006 - MIXED EMOTIONS

Gosh, I can't begin to tell you how excited we were when Lips and the family drove up. They tricked me, first of all! Lips calls on the cell and says they are in Meteetsee, oh, maybe it's Thermop, then, in a matter of 5/8 minutes, Lips calls and says did you move, there is green grass and no more dirt in the front yard. I ran to the front door and there they were, new green jeep and trailer with the ATV....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah HOOOOOO!!!
They were here before dinner, it was so good to see all of them. And...just as I had expected, the "midget" has LONGER LEGS THAN I !!!! Sheesh, kids, they are growing them much taller these days; she is beautiful...the midget looks like a young lady, and she is gonna be a knock-out....her dad said that he has his shotgun all ready positioned at the front door. We all went out to dinner, talked forever and then everyone dropped like flies, it got really tired out and it was bed time.

September 1, 2006, it's my granddaughter's fifteenth birthday....We were all in the car, driving again (poor bottoms) to Billings because I had a Doctor's appointment I couldn't put off. We called Alyssia in Texas and everyone in the car sang Happy Birthday to her. I think she really liked it, she sounded really happy. She was haveing two friends over for the weekend, since it fell on the Holiday weekend. As for my doctor's visit. I felt really badly, throwing everyone in the car again, after they had driven for two days straight, but, what do you do....they were sure good sports about it. The doctor/surgeon was very pleased with the placement of the plate and 6 screws and the way my bones are adjusting. So now, I can drive again. He said I could do anything I wanted too and I was so excited. I said all right, even ride my ATV??? and of course, the doctor said, anything but that. It's too soon for that. CWAP!!!

So, after the doc, we went shopping and then out to one of my favorite restaurants, the Texas Roadhouse...and.....Robt treated us, yummmmmmmm, it was great food, a little too noisey, but great food! Then we drove home and again, it was really tired out, so we all went to bed.

This was the day that my very dear friend passed away. In Memory of Deborah Cook.

A DAY OF WAITING

Hi, here we are again...waiting! I spend most of my life waiting...the Coyote went shooting, so I'm home with plenty to do, but, because of the surgery, I can't do any of it. I suppose I could dust, but why? Think about it, I live in Wyoming- where the wind never stops blowing and the closest homeowner living by us hasn't decided what he wants to do with the two HUGE piles of dirt that he has as a front lawn. Beside, Dust is just a Country Accent!

This is the Labor Day Weekend...we are not going to be laboring. We are going to be playing. Our friends from Oklahoma, Lips and family, are on their way, as we speak. They have already crossed the Wyoming border and I"M SO EXCITED!!! We are going to Yellowstone Park. We are going to spend some time in a cabin on the way. We are going to eat well, and play hard!

When we get home, the boys will go riding on their ATVs, and us girls are gonna be doing girl things. Like shopping, and shopping, and eating, and shopping and getting our nails done, and, in general, treating ourselves like princesses. We will watch movies and eat chocolate....yummmmm. Hummmmm, maybe I should get some marciano cherries, that sounds good, too.

I guess that's about all for now, now I just wait.....

As far as today goes, we went to Billie and Judi's place and brought in some lunch, Judi and I drooled over jewelry things to make. The boys played with their guns. Don't be nasty - the ones that you put bullets in and shoot at targets or kill something. Billie helphed the Coyote finish his stock, and they were happy campers.

EXCITEMENT IS IN THE AIR

Well, let me tell you...I don't quite know what is going on with the Coyote, here, but he is sure doing a lot of things to make me happy. What a great day this was. Wednesday is mowing day (we have about 1 1/2 acres) and he has his John Deer, so he doesn't mind too much. While he was working, my friend Ethel and I went out to lunch at the one and only Chinese Restaurant in Cody, thank heaven it is pretty good. We had a nice lunch, and then we finished just in time to go to our girlie shop to have our nails done. (being retired is so much fun) Anyway, I just had my toesies done, because my fingers are too many lengths at the present time. Ethel got a manicure. We have so much fun because our salon is really a house that has been turned into a "studio". It's very fun and so relaxing. Patti-nails is a hoot, she is a flight attendant when she has to keep her status current, otherwise she is a Cody-ite and loves it. We just have a hoot while we are there.

I talked to my two boys today and they are doing well. They live in Florida and we will be flying out to see them in November, I'm looking forward to seeing them. Dumbo has had surgery and Woody just found a neat place to move. It's a brick home right on the lake, with a dock and everything. I think they are both happy and working towards being happier. Dumbo is a realator and Woody works at Disney World....but Woody likes the real estate work and he is working for the Disney Vacation Club. They are both cuties and different as night and day. But I love them so much!!!

And, now, for my final paragraph, I have to brag on the coyote....he has been doing so much around the house, it's unbelievable. I had surgery, the 3rd of August, a fusion of two discs in my neck and since then, I'm not to lift, push, pull or carry anything. I've not driven, or been able to work on my sewing, quilting or anything....can we say frustration!!! Anyway, the Coyote has really made the lawns beautiful, planted more trees, he let me buy more plants, so he had to plant more, two mugo pines and one star jasmine. But the surprise of all surprises is my windmill. We bought it in a box about 2/3 years ago. He just wouldn't put it together for me....well, I got home today, and OMG...I looked out the back doors and there is was, completely put together and planted right in the exact place I wanted it, by the star jasmine....WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm excited.

Then, talking excitement.....Lips, Bob and the midget are on their way. They had been on the road about an hour when I called, OMG.....I can't believe September is finally here. My friends are finally comeing to play....yiiiiiipppppppeeee!

So, I guess that's about it, for now, can't hardly wait for the group to get here, we are gonna have sooooooooooooo much fun....

I LIKE THEM CHUNKY !

I'm sure this will surprise everyone, especially me....I'm blogging again. I have too today because it is a very special day. 29 August 2006 at 1611 hrs. my Niece, Amy Hall, gave birth to her first child, after eight years of marriage! Travis and Amy have wanted a child from the very beginning, however, it didn't come to pass. They tried everything, including invetro three times, and the third time was a charm....they now have a new addition to their family. Let me introduce, Ella Kirsten Hall, 9 pounds, 8 ounces, and 19 inches tall. They say she has brown hair (both mom and dad are blond) so it will probably go light. Mom, dad, and Ella, are doing well.
As for me...so much water under the bridge....you know life, days come and go. I think I am on my way back, I had a fusion of 2 discs in my neck and my headaches are very infrequent now. I am not back among the driving, yet, I have three months for "hard labor" and I'm not there yet. But I can do most normal things, just no lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying. I go back to the surgeon Friday, the 31st. Maybe he will lighten my sentence.
I'm really hoping, since our friends from Oklahoma will be here on the 30th!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!! I can hardly wait!!! There is one change this year, I don't think we can call Kaitlyn, their daughter, the midget any longer. She has grown so much, she might have even longer legs than I. But, we are going to Yellowstone and all over. The girls get to hang out while the two guys go ATVing....so it should make for a great time all around.
OK, this is good for my first time back...I just have to say, CONGRADULATIONS TO AMY AND TRAVIS, AND ELLA, SHE'S FINALLY HERE!!!
OH, and if Lips should read this, you all be careful on the drive...but hurry, kinda, so you will get here fast. So the fun can begin!

Day of Surprises!

Well, how is your day going? I've experienced the full range of emotions today. How come it is, when you ask a man to do something.....they never get it right. They either go overboard, or do nothing. I asked the Coyote to just tip one of our blue spruce trees, because the wind has caused it to look like a cane, rather than a tree. I explained that by tiping the top, the tree would not grow any taller, but would fill out and become wider. I also, only asked, for the specific tree to be done. Well, I leave, go to the dentist for a teeth cleaning appointment, upon arrival, find that my gal has called in sick. No problem, I reset another appointment and return home. When I drive up, I see this THING in the grass (which of course is not green because it has been frozen and browned out for winter). As I drive closer to the "thing" I realized that it was the top of a Christmas tree. I parked the car, went and picked up the top of what was part of my tree. I entered the house and stopped the Coyote and asked him, "what is this" he proceeded to tell me it was off "one of the trees" he cut the top off. ONE OF THE TREES!!!!!!! How many did you tip? All the ones in the back and the two in the front, with a beaming smile......I was furious!!!
OK, decided I couldn't glue them back together, what will be will be, that was that. Then we went to Walmart...(our one of two shopping stores, the other being KMart). We got some food and looked around a little, then I got a great migraine, wow, bumping into everything and everyone. We checked out and came home. I laid down for a while, when the phone rang. It was the gal from Glendale (CA) workers comp. She gave me some really great hope that I might be able to have the surgery I have been trying to have for the passed three years. Wow, even with a migrain, I was so excited.
The Coyote is out shooting so, I guess I better close for now and start dinner. Hope you have a great evening, I'm gonna make mine quiet......I hope

PERCEPTION OF THE OSCARS

Another year come and gone for the night of the gold statue to be handed out. George Clooney was just as dapper and sauve as usual, with that sly little turned up smile...I was glad to see him get the Supporting Actor from Syriana...his remarks where quick and cute, "well, I guess this means I'm not getting the Oscar for the Best Actor catagory."
Then, much to my surprise comes out this singing string-bean, wow, she did not look good at all. True, she is older, ahem, but, my gosh, the skinny frame was "TOO MUCH" or should I say too little. I liked Dolly a lot better with a little meat on those bones......sheeesh!
I was really happy for Rachel for getting the best Supporting Actress for Constant Gardner. I have the movie, but haven't watched it yet. I just think she is a really good budding actress.
The next comment was that stupid HUGE bow on Charlize Theron's dress. You could hardly see her face from this hugh organaz black bow.....and she's so cute.
The March of the Penquins won and the men brought their stuffed (puppet) Penquins up on the stage with them......ok, I guess
I was very happy for Memoris of a Geisha. I did see that movie, and thought it deserved everything it got, and then some. Definitely not a "popcorn for the brain" movie. One that deserves your fullest attention.
I was happy for Reese Witherspoon getting the Best Actress, from Walk the Line.
And as for Crash, I haven't seen it but I was glad that Brokeback Mountain didn't get it for best picture. I saw Brokeback Mountain and I was bored with it. The scenery was nice, there was a cast of a thousand....sheep and the acting was not all that great. I was really surprised with Heath Ledger's character, he just wasn't that believable.
All in all, I'd say that Jon Stewart did a good job. He came across with some jokes from the right and the left, and then some...The one part of the awards I always enjoy is the tribute to the stars that had past on during the year. It was good to see them one more time. And the montagues were done very well. It appeared that all who were there, did enjoy themselves. As did I...

GOOD SATURDAY THERAPY

Hope you are having a great "Saturday Night"! We are watching one of the ol' Coyote's favorite shows, "Mythbusters" I think it's a male thing. It's ok, but I'm more into law stuff and CSI stuff and mysteries or biographys. Have you ever watched The Directors Studio on Bravo channel. I watch that a lot when there is someone on that I am interested in. Last one I watched was about Johnny Depp, it was good, try it sometime.

Boy, the wind is howelling outside tonight, it's 24 mph sustained out of the north, but, still no snow. Our first chance of snow is Wednesday with a 30% chance (which means we won't be seeing any snow.) Then on Friday it says we have a 60% chance. Now 60% is a good chance, but, here we have to take into consideration that Friday is a week away and if anyone knows anything about weather, it's "subject to change without notice" thats the case especially in Wyoming. The saying is "if you don't like the weather, stick around 10 minutes, it will be different".

Today, guess what, yer not going to believe this. The Ol' Cody Coyote, came thru....he hung my two Bev Doolittle's lithos. They look so awesome. You walk in the front door and if you go a step to your left you can go down stairs. Well, that stair wall is where we hung them. I took the quilts of the railings, so your eyes go to the pictures instead of the quilts. I LIIIIIKE IT!!

Speaking of that ol' coyote, he saw a Ruger Blackhawk in the buyer's guide and I told him to go look at it. He has always wanted one, and a used one, in my book, is cheaper than a new one. So he went and looked at it....and came home with it. It was a good deal. He got reloading dies, a funky holster, but it works, and a pair of hogue rubber grips, which are nice, easy to hang onto. The Black Hawk came with two cylinders, .357 and 9mm. So since he has to have surgery on the 9th of March, I told him that was his get well present...he's a happy camper. Especially, since I fixed him some chicken fajitas for din din.....then we had sliced strawberries on angel food loaf smothered with cool whip for deeezzzzert...yum!

Things have been moving along, and I haven't been able to work on my quilts, hopefully, since I have to be a home nurse to the recooping patient, I will be able to work on them next week. Tomorrow is Sunday and we have choir and church from 10am until 1400 hrs. Hummmm, I wonder what I need to defrost for dinner tomorrw. I'm going to have to give that some thought.

I talked to my friend Ethel, she (and Fred) called to invite the ol' Coyote and me to the cinema next Wednesday to see the new Bruce Willits movie 16 (or 18) Blocks....that'll be fun, then the next day OCC goes in for his big surgery....not excited about that!
I am excited about Tuesday, we get to buy the new Harry Potter DVD....love E-Parr!

Did I tell you I am reviving my Hot Wheels collection? I'm so excited about that too. I love hot wheels (should have been born a boy) but my hubby keeps saying that he was glad that I was born female, even if I am a pain in the ars sometimes. I wonder if Grey's Anatomy will be on tomorrow night, since it's academy awards night.....I tell you if Brokeback Mountain gets best picture, I will really be dissappointed. It was boring and not that great. The scenery was better than the script, trust me.

Well, I guess we will just have to wait until tomorrow to see the answer. OK, the vacuumming is done, the dishes aren't but the tools and mess is cleaned up from the picture hanging ordeal. The wood has been chopped and some brought in. Wow, let me tell you...are we glad we bought two cords of wood. Gas, as you all know was really expensive this year, so we have been using the wood burning stove to save some "gas money". Our gas bill was only $65.00! Jen, next door was just floored when she got her bill. Both our homes are about the same size, hers might be a little bigger, but not by much....wanna know how much....take a deep breath....please be sitting down, it was $400.00 FOR ONE MONTH!!! We are almost out of wood, I can't believe we used two cords in one winter, but I'm sure glad we had it. We have about two wheelbarrows full left. I know we need more, but hopefully we can stretch it. The price would be prohibitive at this point. We haven't even had a winter. Please pray (if you are so inclined) for snow, or moisture, we need it.

If you checkout my blog, you will notice that my secret helper has added some more interesting links to check out. Yellowstone is gorgeous, anytime of year. The wydot gives a lot of information. And, last but not least, the BBHC as we natives (ok, so we are adopted natives) call the museum. It is really awesome to visit.

Guess that's about it for tonight, hope everyone is happy and healthy...remember, "smile, it makes people wonder what you have been up to".

FRIDAY CONFUSION

YIKES!!!!!! It's Friday already, where did Thursday go??? This blogging is a trip, I'M SO CONFUSED What happened yesterday, oh well, it's gone, HI to Friday, (Ihope this font will work so someone can read it.) If it's worth reading. Let's see, today was work day, I don't like that word. It's a four letter word. Do you realize how many four letter words their are that are distasteful? OK, I won't go there....

One of my favoritest grandaughter's called today; she got her report card. This is usually a scarey day. She learns a lot more than her report cards show. She's a lot like her dad and gramma....don't like tests. Don't like sittin in school, too much other stuff to learn, places to go and things to see. But she did pretty good, at least no failing grades this time.....it has happened before, but not often. For her spring break, she will be going to see her dad in Florida where she will be able to go to DisneyWorld. She's excited!!!

The rest of the day was pretty boring, you know, the usual. I vaccuumed, and cleaned and cooked. I did some more bills and all things considered, it was a stay at home day. We still haven't any snow, although it is supposed to snow tonight, hahaha, we have heard that before....Oh, speaking of no snow, our daughter called and said that her church was haveing a special prayer day for moisture. She lives in Buckeye, AZ. (That's close to Phoenix, AZ) and as the news has been saying, they have not had any moisture for over 133 days....it is so dry down there you could blow away...if you didn't weigh as much as I do...

I guess other than a grandaughter calling, the most exciting news was that Lips called and said that they are going to let her do the gastric bypass...the downside is that she doesn't get to go the doctor or hospital that she wanted. That really doesn't seem fair to me, since she has been going to that doctor, but what do I know.

Another interesting call came in today. They want to pave our little subdivision. It would ONLY cost $3300. per family....FOR PAVEMENT, get real, I like my gravel just fine thank you...I don't need another loan!

My Bev Doolittle lithos didn't get hung today and neither did my drapes, I know it's not Wednesday, but I have to whine because I have been after the ol' Coyote for two months now to help me do it. It's not like the pictures are small enough to handly, or that I am tall enough to stand on the stairs and put them on the wall in the place I want (the pictures, that is). And with the drapes, I have to cover three glass doors and be able to open the doors, with the drapes hanging....not an easy situation for one person to handle. Hopefully, tomorrow will prove to be a better day, and something I have been hoping for will mature. (no comments, I'm refering to the above mentioned 2 jobs, thank you)

Oh, now I remember why I lost yesterday, it was the funeral for my friend....it was a very sad day. But, the services were very nice. I just couldn't get thru the last song we were singing....God be with you till we meet again....The whole church was full with family and friends...it was a very nice tribute to a really great lady.

Ok, I'm gonna go have some cheetos and a coke, hope you have a great evening!

WEDNESDAY, ALREADY, WOW!!!

I can't believe I have not had the time to blog from Friday to now, gosh, where does the time go....Well, since we last chatted, a lot has gone on.
* One of my friends died, how is that for the first thing...she went into the hospital for a knee replacement, came home, was home about two weeks, doing great. Went up to Billings just to get out. Stopped with her husband at his sister's house. She was tired, so she went to take a nap, when he thought it was time to hit the road, they couldn't wake her up! Are you ready for that, sheesh, they did an autopsy on her looking for blood clots or something...found nothing, her heart just stopped beating. Gosh, what a way to go....but I'm sure not ready for that, I still got a lot of living to do, what a shocker!!
* OK, things will get better, now. Tomorrow is the funeral and we have to sing and I have to make rice for part of the dinner for the family....easy day, I HOPE.
*I got my super 67 Camero from the hotwheels site, plus I bought a two veh special, both vdubs. 1 bus and 1 carmin ghia, I can hardly wait to get them. Of course, they are on backorder. I feel like that is my life, everything is either on hold, or backordered....
* Let's see, oh yeah, my husband made his appointment on March 9th for his left arm and shoulder to be all cut up again. He has a ripped rotator cuff and then in the humorous bone (it's not very funny to us) he has a tumor growing that they have to drill into the bone and scoop it out....not fun. This is the second go around, it is growing back.
* My friend at the quilt shop lost her grammpa, that was sad for Shelly. I felt badly for her.
*Today is March 1th...for us living on a "fixed income" it's "bill day"...all gone.
* I have made two quilt squares for my quilt. They really turned out nice. Purples, green and blues with a little pink.
* I didn't get to get my pictures framed in Billings because we ran out of time.
* I still have't gotten to get my Palm treo 650 phone/camera....again, waiting
* My neice called and they have finally passed the first trimester so this is good news. This is the third time they have tried invitro...we are all praying that this will be a keeper.
* Same family, my neice's sister-in-law sent my sister a hate e-mail...telling her never to come visit them again. She called her husband (my sister's son) and told him to come and take his mother away from their home because she was not coming home until the mother-in-law form hell was gone....(Oh, I just want you to know my sister and I are complete opposites ;/)

I Think I am going to have to cut this short, hubby is wanting to go to bed, we have to get up early for the funeral, so, I will say good-night, Hope you have a great tomorrow!

P.S. Thanks to my secret helper, she posted my picture with the ol' Cody Coyote...he's much cuter than I am, don't you think?

FRIDAY; just another day

Wow, Friday already, hummmmmmmmmm, ok, it was a busy one. I had to go to the quilt shop and pick out some more fabric to replace the yucky fabric they used for our #6 bonus block. I did the same for #6 block. I guess I must not blend with the rest of the world to well. Everyone likes "earth tones".....blah! brown, tan, yellow, orange, ugh, give me strength! So I go in to the shop and dig out all the purples, blues, pinks, greens and then I'm happy. What do they care, it just makes more money for them, so I figure all is well. OMG!!!!! the owner just got a new puppy, it's a sharpei (sp) and they named her Promise. She is soooooooooooooo cute, and she snores, it's hysterical. Ok, now back to my fabric ramblings, well, actually, I guess I'm done on that subject.

I had to visit some ladies from church, one of whom, we took to lunch, at my favorite eclectic little tea house. Lunch was wonderful and we did endulge in dessert, ohhhhhhhhhhh, I love scones and devonshire cream, oh yummmmmmmmm, in fact it was so good, I called that ol' cody coyote and told him I would treat him to a delectible dessert if he would meet me at the tea house. So, 2 hours after lunch, we went and had dessert.....I like to share good things, oh, it was just as wonderful the second time around, ok, ok, I know I'm bad, but good grief, life is so short, you gotta endulge once in a while, and beside, I made points.....that's a good thing. Since he took "the girls" our cute little rottweillers, only 2, to the groomer I owed him. With one weighing 96 pounds and the other 121 pounds....I can't do it anymore. Oh they smell so good and they both lost at least 6 pounds of hair.

Ok, on with my day. Had to go see my gf Judy, she has not smoked for 29 days!!!! we are all so excited. Anyway, we do crochet and jewlrey projects and exchange information regarding such, so I needed to go see her because she is always to beat to come visit me on her 1 or 2 days off (depending on her boss lady).

Then I got home and found my box of Hot Wheels came, yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, so I had to open and sort them...I got some duplicates, so I may go on ebay, haven't decided. I got the super special one on Valentine's day and I have to remember to go to the site at 9am PST on Feb 28 to order my next of 5 special cars...this one is the 67 chev chevelle, I think, the last one was my fav.....an old bug, RED, YA!!!!

Well, I'm waiting for my trip to Oklahoma to see Lips and the family...I'm hoping they have a place I can hook up a networking thing so I can use MY LAPTOP while I'm there, last time I couldn't. I think I may have ol' cc talked into instaling one for me....then when she get's her laptop, she will be able to be on it, while OTHERS OF THE FAMILY are using the DESK TOP puter....

I'm also excited about visiting her so we can get our tats done.....you got yours picked out? Better be thinking about it, 'cause we are goin' lady lips....oh, and I want to go to build a bear and see what new they have....still don't have one of them, gotta get one of everything (I like) before I die, so I started early, but I still don't have everything.....hummm, wonder if I will get everything,,,,,,nah, never happen...but it sure is fun tryin'

Guess I will stop for now, we are going to Billings, Montana tomorrow to do some church stuff and then I'm going to Michaels to get a picture framed and just look around. I told hubby to go to home depot or somewhere so I can just have time to look at stuff....I never get to go and just look ... I always have a shadow..one that talks...he says the same thing over and over, "are you ready to go yet" now how can any female make decisions with that going on....

Ok everyone, have a great weekend......cruella

Wednesday, February 22, 2006

Everyone has to start somewhere...

OK... I'm beginning on a Wednesday, just so I can whine...."I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM DOING"...of course, that's not abnormal for me.

My friend LIPS has been after me to do this and I usually cave eventually. (I don't even know how to set up who I am or where I am or anything. I guess that said, I can only get better, right?

I could use some imput, here....oh, I could do somemore whining: Went and saw The Pink Panther, ugh! what a groaner, don't even waste your money. I'm thursty, my drink is gone, dang...I didn't get to sew on my quilt today, either. I had to do laundry. Oh, I wish the wind would stop. It has sounded like a freight train going thru my house for the past three weeks, and you think I'm gonna clean, not this chick, there is just too much dirt flying around. I mean DIRT, good ol' Wyoming dirt!

Well, this all sounds pretty stupid to me, but I guess this is what you are supposed to do. I'm getting tired now, so I will close until someone will help me set up......H*E*L*P!!!!!

Boy, I'm confused!!!!
